New Delhi: Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will on Thursday present his second and Narendra Modi government's third budget. The ministry is in deep financial crisis. The ministry is likely to introduce cuts in crucial reserve funds to window-dress its financial condition and show a healthy operating ratio. Railway minister Suresh Prabhu is expected to announce a marquee train service that will have premium coaches aimed at giving competition to low cost airlines and helping the state-run behemoth win back customers. The new service will be in the category of Shatabdi, Rajdhani and Duranto trains.
