We now expand our coverage into politics. There are betting odds and propositions available from the political field and we now begin our coverage. As we get ready for the second 2008 Presidential Debate between Barack Obama and John McCain I am going to look at a state prop. Who wins the swing state of Ohio? Right now Barack Obama is the 180 favorite with John McCain the underdog in this state at +135. The strategy this week in the McCain camp is to attack Barack Obabams character. Seems like a desperate measure with McCain behind in the polls with the election less than a month away. In August Ohio registered its highest unemployment rate in 16 years. Ohioans want jobs. Bottom line under a Republican President the state of Ohio lost 230,000 manufacturing jobs. Ohio residents dont want to hear McCain attack Obama on his character, they want economic answers. And the economy is a weak topic for Senator McCain. Obama is too smart to take the bait here.
