Simply one of the best spots in summer, and we can confirm after travelling around New Zealand. That Kai Iwi Lakes also known as Lake Taharoa (The larger Lake) is one of the NZ best lakes.

It is located in Northwest of Dargaville, The lake has no outflow, with only minor drain inflows in the South of the lake and from the larger Lake Taharoa.
