The first 4 minutes covers Fintra Beach, showing you some of the amazing rock formations and sandy strips that this beach, near the harbor town of Killybegs, has to offer.
The second part of the video (4 minutes and onward) sees us jump into the water to show you some of the beautiful sights that lie just under the water. This is an amazing beach for snorkeling. Visit at the high tide, and the rock pools will be right on the beach allowing for very easy and safe snorkeling, all under the watchful eye of lifeguards. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer months, starting from July.
A great feature of this beach is how easy it is to get onto; there are no stairs, only a small ramp to walk down. The beach stretches for about half a kilometer, where it meets with a river and forms a lagoon. This is one of the more popular beaches within a 30 minute drive of Killybegs.
