STEPS TO REMOVE BACKGROUND:
1) Open the Kapwing studio and load your image
2) Duplicate your image and place it directly on top of the first
3) on the top layer, use the erase tool to remove the object you want to recolor
4) In the second layer, use the erase tool to remove the background
5) Add a rectangle and layer it between the two images. Lower its opacity to 50% and change its color to the color you want
6) Click export and download your image
