In Bhubaneswar's Palaspalli, a young man named Shibaprasad Srichandan was attacked by three miscreants while he was returning home. The incident occurred when Shibaprasad was on his way back on his scooter, and the attackers followed him on a bike. They intercepted him and launched an assault, repeatedly kicking him even as he tried to escape. He sustained injuries to his shoulder, arm, and thigh and was admitted to AIIMS in critical condition.
