1. Make sure you are fully inflated at the surface
2. remove your weight belt and put it on the side of the pool or boat
3. Remove the scuba unit / BCD and keep it close to the exit
4. Use your fins and kick out of the water
5. Remove your fins and scuba mask
6. Take out the Scuba Unit / BCD
7. Streamline your scuba dive equipment
