Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, strong, and surrounded by care. However, each year, 4.9 million children worldwide die before reaching the age of five, often from treatable diseases like pneumonia, malaria, and malnutrition.
At #UNICEF, we work to guarantee the right to child survival. With the support of our partners, we are making significant progress in countries like Sierra Leone, where 72 children die every day. In partnership with Fundación "la Caixa" through UNICEF Spain, we are strengthening the healthcare system and reducing child mortality by improving primary care and ensuring universal access to quality health services.
