We started the mountain bike trails at the Chattanooga Overlook and rode Electric Avenue to Split Rock to HIGH VOLTAGE! My first time riding High Voltage and it did not disappoint! Mountain biking at Raccoon Mountain is by far the best mountain biking in chattanooga!
You have two major downhill runs: High Voltage and Live Wire. You have a freeride area called Chunky. You have tech throughout the trail systems but also more specifically on Live Wire 2. There is a lot of variety wrapped around the mountain. It's a great place to improve your skills.
Don't be afraid to come out here if you don't have a full suspension. I ride this whole trail system on my hardtail GT Aggressor Pro... It's head angle is that of an XC bike.. Bring your bike out, and learn some skills!
