Damn they are just sooo damn close its ultimately up to u guys Aside from a pinch harsher treble on the 43 these to are just to damn close. Then again the 43 did seem to hold to its bass a bit tighter at max volume! And for those that care it still sounds excellent standing up!😂

In the end it's up to the features wether you like the carrying strap of the extreme or the salt water proofness on the 43 not to mention the lights and USB C charging! They bother sound amazing u can't go wrong.

The one thing I say is if you like more flexibility in your music such as using an equalizer then just get the 43, Maxed out EQ and live sound mode are definitely sellers for me. Sorry jbl but u definitely get more bang for the buck if u get the sony.
