UK RESIDENTS - THIS GUITAR IS FOR SALE - CHECK EBAY.
Here's a simple but thorough demonstration of the differences between Fender's Noiseless stacked single coils and their venerable Texas Specials.
There are obvious flaws to the single coil design regarding noise and interference, but many say that they are the only way to get that true vintage tone.
The Noiseless pickup aims to eradicate the interference by stacking two smaller single coils on top of each other, wound in opposite directions, this technically makes them a stacked humbucker. To me a quite convincing tone but they definitely have less bite and are more mellow.
I take you through a clean, dirty and lead tone on each type of pickup technologies.
All sounds are generated by Guitar Rig 5. I wish I could do this through my amp but my neighbours may just kill me!
Obviously for the sake of comparison all setting are identical on each demonstration.
I go through each pickup position and A/B the tones.

This isn't a technical video regarding electronics or guitar playing, I have tried to construct it in a way that purely shows what you can expect from changing out your pickups.
