Ricci received the Pinnacle Achievement Award from York University in 2010. This award is given to a grad whose integrity and outstanding achievements inspire their peers.
Ricci has earned numerous literary achievements, including the Governor General's Literary Award for Fiction for both The Origin of Species and Lives of the Saints. He received this award from York for his success as an auther, his leadership at PEN Canada and his continued involvement with York.
