The Sig Sauer p220 is a single stack 45acp pistol. Although this one was made in west Germany, they're currently produced in America.

Having similarities to a 1911, we can't help but compare. With a used price in the $550-$750 range, one has to wonder if a kimber, Springfield or colt is really worth the extra $300 for a 1911 when you can have a battle tested sig p220, despite the 1911's rich 100 year history through many wars.
