The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as a brutal ice blast looks set to freeze much of the UK. Forecasters have now revealed what time snow is expected to hit the Midlands thisweekend.
The alert for heavy snow and ice runs from noon on Saturday, January 4 until 11.59pm on Sunday, January 5, and covers much of England and Wales. It's thought the cold spell could result in " treacherous conditions", with those who need to travel urged to plan their route or amend journey plans if necessary.
