Australia has recorded stronger jobs growth than all of the world’s biggest economies in the six months following the federal election, despite inflation and labour shortages.
More than 234,000 Australians have found work in the country in the past six months – an overall 1.7 per cent increase in jobs growth, placing the country far ahead of other G7 economies.
The construction, retail and hospitality sectors have reported the highest increases in employment numbers.
