PREP TIME - 1 HOUR
TOTAL COOK TIME - 2 HOUR
► 2 lbs of oxtail
► 2 carrots
► 3 medium sized potatoes
► 2 onions
► 1 bunch of green onions
► 8 garlic cloves - (5 whole cloves for broth, 3 cloves finally minced)
► 1/2 ginger
BROTH:
► 1 whole onion
► 5 cloves of garlic
► 2 lbs oxtails
► 8 cups of water
► 1/2 ginger
SAUCE:
► 1/2 cup of soy sauce
► 1/4 cup of brown sugar
► 1 cup of oxtail broth
► 1 tsp sesame oil
► 1 tsp sesame seeds
| DESCRIPTION |
Here is a simple and easy to make braised oxtail dish. This is one of my mom's popular recipes and would make this once or twice a year. Once cooked right, the oxtail is super tender and falls right off the bone complimented with soft potatoes, carrots, onions, and green onions. Hope you guys enjoy!
