Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge gave the 2021 Salter Lecture as part of Yearly Meeting Gathering.
She explores the struggle for racial and social justice, from the fight against apartheid to serving as a pacifist Deputy Minister of Defence; her dismissal for taking a science-based approach to AIDS; and her ongoing work with grassroots campaigns and projects.
