ingredients:
For Preethi vala dough:
1 bowl urad daal paste,
2 bowls wheat flour,
1/2 bowl sooji ( semolina ),
4 to 5 tsp desi ghee,
2 to 3 tsp kasoori methi( dry Fenugreek leaves),
Salt as per taste,
1/4 Red chilly powder,
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
2tsp coriander powder,
1 tsp ajwain( carom seeds).
For Aloo Launji:
3 to 4 tsp oil,
1 tsp methi dana ( Fenugreek seeds),
1 tsp saunf ( fennel seeds),
1/4 kalonji ( negella seeds),
1 tsp ginger garlic paste,
3 green chillies,
1 tsp coriander powder,
1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder,
Salt as per taste,
1/4 tsp Red chilly powder,
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
boiled and mashed 6 to 7 medium sized potatoes,
jaggery as required,
tamarind pulp as required.
