Last year, I bought the Dell S2721QS for $335 CAD which is possibly the cheapest 4K monitor. This monitor pairs well with the 14-inch M1 Pro Macbook Pro and M2 MacBook Air, M3 MacBook Air and other MacBooks. It works perfectly with the Windows laptops too!

The specs of this monitor include a 27-inch 4k IPS LCD panel with a 163ppi and around 350nits of brightness. The monitor also has dual 3-watt speakers which are decent. In terms of connectivity, there are 2 HDMI ports and a single Display Port. The monitor can be adjusted in numerous ways such as up and down, sideways, tilting, and even vertically.
The display also supports HDR content playback for a more lifelike visual experience. The viewing angles are wide with a 99% sRGB color gamut.
