Follow these simple steps to set up your sewing machine to use our quilting templates:
1. Remove whichever foot you have attached to your sewing machine and replace it with a Free Motion Quilting Foot for templates. Be sure to have an FMQ foot that is made specifically for use with templates.
2. Lower or cover your feed dogs.
3. Change your stitch length to “0”.
Now that you have your machine set up and ready for quilting with templates, you can begin practicing!
Tip: Do some test stitches with a practice quilt sandwich to ensure your thread tension is right for quilting.
