Talk 10: Contemplation on Viraat through the Symbolic Horse

KEY POINTS:

• We should train our minds to think that 'I am not an individual; I am one with the cosmic family'.
• Bigger is your thought; it will be easier to dis-identify and go beyond your smaller thought towards Brahmakaar vritti.
• In Hinduism, every ritual is sacred and divine to remind us we are doing 'for' God, and it will reach Him through our pervasiveness.
• In Viraat, all parts are inter-connected. Our body is a part of the Viraat only.
• The only function of Part (ang) is to serve the Whole (angi).
• When we offer water to the Sun, we offer our namaskar to the ‘Sun Devata’, the ‘Holder’ of the external ball of Fire.
• Increasing the Viraat Bhaav in our mind is called Tapasya of a Karma Yogi.
