In 2020, we’re celebrating 100 years of The Travel Corporation being Driven by Service. This February and in honour of #ValentinesDay, we’re looking back at TTC’s greatest love story.

On 5 July 1952, Bea and Stanley Tollman went on their first date to the Oyster Box Hotel in Durban, South Africa. Stanley and Bea began to quickly fall in love and knew they were destined to be together. But little did Bea know, that when Stanley promised to one day own the Oyster Box Hotel and make it the best hotel in South Africa, the promise would actually come true. In June 2006, the Tollman family did just that. The Oyster Box Hotel was restored to its former glory, renovated with elegance, care and passion.

The story of Bea and Stanley is one of love and classic romance, and it forms the foundations for all that TTC is today. #ttc100
