Red Square, Moscow, Russia, USSR.
Large Communist parade in Red Square. People in their thousands carry placards and pictures of Stalin, Lenin and other Soviet leaders. Shot of men on balcony of Lenin's Mausoleum. Among the faces on the banners are Molotov and Trotsky. Lots of shots of people waving in the crowd. Three soldiers salute (they look American). People in the parade pass by carrying large sculptures of a clenched fist. More shots of people in the parade. Shots of Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Molotov in flat cap. High angle shots of Red Square filled with people.
Music on soundtrack continues after end of pictures. Presumably this piece dates from before Trotsky's exile in 1929. The parade may be a celebration of the October Revolution in 1917. No Moscow parade after 1927 would have included placards of Trotsky
