Loading a Petzl ASAP to access your High Ropes Course.
Using an ASAP is just one way you can gain access to your high ropes course for inspections or to replace a stuck tracer.
Using your thumb against the textured pad on the ASAP, pull the wheel down to create room for the rope. (If you’re feeling confident you can slide the rope straight in 😮)
Once the ASAP is on the rope, install your karabiner through the hole at the top of the ASAP, making sure you capture the rope.
To perform a function check, swiftly pull down on the body of the ASAP.
To unlock, press your thumb on the locking wheel and press the wheel into the rope whilst sliding the ASAP up slightly. You’ll hear a click when it unlocks.
