Little wing was originally written and recorded by Jimi Hendrix in 1967 and has been performed and recorded by countless other guitarists. My personal favorite version is Stevie Ray Vaughan's that came out on the Album "The Sky Is Crying" released in 1991. In 1993 Little wing won best Rock instrumental.
