God is worthy of our worship.
Lessons learned:
Psalm 95 clearly outlines the reasons for our worship: God is our God. The Psalmist emphasizes that God is the Creator and concludes by portraying God as our Shepherd. As believers, we must remember that God is worthy of our worship. How often do we prioritize superficial things without significance in the afterlife? We tend to forget that our God is eternal and that if He is indeed our God, He must have a plan for each of us. This plan begins with us coming together to worship Him in His presence with thanksgiving.
My Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we praise You with great thanksgiving. We worship You in reverence and with great anticipation of Your marvelous acts in all creation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
