In this video, I cover two methods for finding the area of a Rhombus. The first method you almost treat the Rhombus like a triangle and use 1/2 base times height. The second method involves using the diagonals of the Rhombus.
The area of a Rhombus is the area found inside the four sides. Area is always written as squared. The area of a quadrilateral depends on the specific type of quadrilateral. The formulas for the area of different types of quadrilaterals are as follows:
Square: Area = side^2
Rectangle: Area = length x width
Parallelogram: Area = base x height
Rhombus: Area = (diagonal1 x diagonal2) / 2
