Labour unions representing workers in the public sector are looking to 2023 intensify their fight for wage increases. Popcru has outright rejected the government's 3% increase which has been unilaterally implemented by the government threatening a full-blown strike. The SA Federation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Unions SA are due to meet next year.
