13. SOUNDBITE (Bosnian) Damir Hanic, mechanical engineering student:
"I wanted to help my city because, year after year, I am seeing people dear to me, close to me, my friends, friends of my friends, my professors, my colleagues' parents, suffering from lung and cardio-vascular problems and by analysing the situation I realised that smog was the main cause of those health problems."

15. SOUNDBITE (Bosnian) Damir Hanic, mechanical engineering student:
"I got tired of hearing that progress is possible only through major, costly projects that haven't even been initiated. It encouraged me to think of solutions that could work while we wait for those major projects, projects which are necessary, but the question is when they will be implemented."

20. SOUNDBITE (Bosnian) Martin Tais, Bosnian air quality and climate change expert:
"I welcome every idea proposed by a young person, including the solution with drones, but drones are too small for the size of our problem. For silver iodide to make a difference (in Sarajevo) it would need to be a Herculean effort, by which I mean we'd need a fleet of Hercules (military cargo planes) filled with it."

22. SOUNDBITE (Bosnian) Martin Tais, Bosnian air quality and climate change expert:
"For over 30 years we have just been measuring and acknowledging our air pollution problem, we have not adopted a strategy, we have no vision for how to solve it."
23. Top shot of Sarajevo with sunrays penetrating through smog hanging over the city
24. SOUNDBITE (Bosnian) Martin Tais, Bosnian air quality and climate change expert:
"(Sarajevo) authorities must think about the future of their citizens, they must have a vision and develop a strategy and then hold onto that strategy even when governments change every four years. Without continuity, we will not have a solution."
