When I look at a photo card, I remember that moment of the past, feel the same emotions, smell the same smells - not physically, but mentally transported to a bygone moment.
It feels like the camera has always been in my hands. No matter how solemn and important the moment was, I will surely capture it on film to leave the imprint of the lived moment not only in my memory. Our whole life, consisting of hundreds and thousands of memories, can be imagined as an album filled with photo cards from different periods.
In this way, photography creates our memory of the moment, helps us remember what we have already forgotten, and thanks to them - memory and photography - become interconnected, complementary substances.
