The ascent of Mount Toubkal only took two days. With its 4167 m of altitude, it is the highest peak in the whole of the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, North Africa and the Arab World. The first day we started from Imlil, following mule paths zigzagging up into the rocky valley towards Refuge du Toubkal (3207m). The next day we continued through the snow to the summit at 4167 m. We ended our journey in Morocco with a visit to Essaouira on the coast.
