2019 marks the Centennial of my Autopiano Studio Model upright player. I purchased this piano in Feb. of 1973. It has since been rebuilt and refinished. It continues to bring pleasure to our family and friends all these years. Just had her tuned yesterday and thought I’d share a bit of how she sounds. From 1926, here Victor Arden and Phil Ohman duet on Gershwin’s “Looking For A Boy”. Arden and Ohman were very popular pianists both both as single and duet performers. Gershwin admired them so much he personally chose them to play the pit for his Broadway musical TIP-TOES. Enjoy.
