There are only three times where Grand Maester Pycelle shows that his elderly and feeble demeanor is actually just an act. The first time is during season one’s finale where he is seen doing a series of exercises and stretches behind closed doors. The second time is actually in a deleted scene where Tywin Lannister sees through his charade, and the final time is when Pycelle speaks in his regular cadence with Tyrion in Valar Morghulis.
