President Trump is publicly lashing out at the Russia probe as he and his lawyers are working on answers to questions from Special Counsel Bob Mueller. For the first time, Trump says he knows “the inner workings of the Mueller investigation” and claims it is “a total mess”. The claim comes just over one week after he named loyalist Matt Whitaker to oversee the probe.
