The Bearded Vulture, also known as the Lammergeyer, is a formidable predator from the bird group. This bird can grow up to 1.2 meters tall and weigh between 5 to 8 kilograms. Their wingspan reaches up to 3 meters. Because of its size, the Bearded Vulture is considered one of the largest scavenger birds in the world.

The Bearded Vulture is the only animal that primarily feeds on bones. Their stomach acid has a level of acidity strong enough to digest bones in less than 24 hours. They also have the habit of dropping large bones from a height of 100 meters to break them down so that they can be easily eaten and their marrow extracted.
