You can't think of South American cocktails and *not* think of the lime-y, refreshing Caipirinha. This classic summer masterpiece is the mainstay in Brazil—and is the national cocktail. The three-ingredient chef-d'oeuvre caters to the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and vegetal flavors. All you do is muddle the lime quarters along with the sugar, and add the flavor-rich Toco Cachaça— then you’re ready to tickle your tastebuds with Brazil’s favorite cocktail!
Ingredients:
2 oz of Toco Cachaça
½ or 1 lime cut in quarters
1 teaspoon of sugar
Instructions:
Toss the chopped lime into an old-fashioned glass and muddle well with sugar.
Add a few ice cubes and top the drink with Cachaça.
Stir well and enjoy!

At Toco Cachaça, we hand cut the highest grade sugarcane, harvested at peak maturity and pressed within 24 hours to guarantee a fresh flavor. We blend it with locally sourced filtered spring water and micro flora from the hills of Minas Gerais to ensure that the true taste of the Brazilian terroir is sealed in every bottle. Distilled in vintage wood-burning copper alembic stills, Toco Cachaça is aged for three years in Oak and Jequitibá barrels for the smoothest possible finish. Our small batch method produces an ultra premium artisanal cachaça with a complex palate of rich caramel, spicy vanilla, and fruity notes.
Toco Cachaça was a Gold Medal Winner at the 2018 San Diego Spirits Festival.
This sipping cachaça is meant to be enjoyed neat but can also be mixed with lime and sugar (caipirinha) or with vermouth (rabo de galo) or with coffee to create diverse flavor profiles.
