Audi's latest A8 is undoubtedly a technological tour de force and one that introduces new levels of interior design, quality, comfort and style – even for Audi, which is accepted as the master of the art. It's a shame it doesn't look more distinctive on the outside, but the A8 is closer to the Mercedes S-Class for smoothness than ever before and won't disappoint a demanding driver, either. With advanced 'level 3' piloted driving technology on the way, along with a plug-in hybrid e-tron and W12 petrol flagship, the future of the A8 is more exciting than it looks.
