This beautiful kit by Games Workshop for Warhammer 40K comes with 3 different head options and 3 different weapon options. You can use any combination when you build your model and none of them have an impact on the stats line, or how the model plays on the board.
In this case, magnetizing the weapons and heads is just for the cool factor. My approach worked pretty well, though it could have been better in a few spots.
