Friendly. Welcoming. Community-Centric. These are JUST a few ways to describe the community at the Native American Student Success Center (NAASSC), aka the Native Nest.
In the next episode of Real Places of UCD, Kayley Walker and Jazmin Chavez guide us through the Native Nest. Together, they drop knowledge about Native resources and programs, show off study and lounge areas, introduce us to the friendliest staff, and hype up the successes of Native students, including showcasing American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) national award-winning rocket ...you know for your next trip around the moon, of course. 🚀
After watching the tour, don't forget to stop by and say hi anytime, but if you happen to come on Wednesdays, we heard there are waffles for you to enjoy 😉!
