Newly elected, nominated or re-nominated Rajya Sabha members took oath Tuesday in presence of Vice President and RS Chairman Venkaiah Naidu. Journalist John Brittas and CPI leader Dr V Sivadasan are newly elected members, while senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani is nominated and BJP leader Swapan Dasgupta is a re-nominated member of the upper house.
