Mango is one of the most delicious fruits grown in India. India alone accounts for nearly 80 percent of the world's mango production. a substantial quantity is being exported to different parts of the world. But Mango suffers from several pest and diseases at all stages of its life. All the parts of the plant, namely, trunk, branch, twig, leaf, petiole, flower and fruit are attacked by a number of insect ,pathogens including fungi, bacteria and algae. They cause several kinds of damage on mango tree, flowers, fruits and branches which great economic importance as they cause heavy losses in mango production. Caring for mango crops must include watching for pest and diseases. and deal with these pests and diseases as they occur with organic and chemical pesticides/fungicides, culture and biological control.
