Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde resigned as Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Tuesday amid suspense over Mahayuti's next Chief Ministerial choice, following their landslide win, decimating the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Shinde tendered his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, with his deputies, Devendra Fadnavis & Ajit Pawar also present.
According to reports, Fadnavis is set to form the next Govt, with backing from Ajit Pawar.
Amid suspense over the next CM, the MVA have alleged EVM manipulation for their disastrous performance in the elections.
