U.S. Marines and Indonesian Korps Marinir Train at Exercise Keris MAREX 2023
U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, attached to Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia and Indonesian Korps Marinir with 4th Marine Infantry Battalion, Pasmar 1, conduct training during Keris Marine Exercise (MAREX) 2023 at Piabung Training Area in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia. Keris MAREX is a bilateral exercise to promote military interoperability and maritime domain awareness capabilities, strengthen and expand relationships and capabilities among participating forces in the advancement of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
