Here is very simple parametric modeling technic for furniture models. Here we used an add-on software "WOODWORK FOR INVENTOR", which works on Autodesk Inventor Software.
There are various capabilities in this add-on like:
Parametric modeling
a) Material assignment & customization
b) Hardware placement
c) Automatic associative hole generation according to hardware
d) BOM generation and customization
e) Automatic associative drawing generation
e) Nesting
f) CNC programming for various machines
g) Library generation for your specific designs

# We did not use all capabilities in this video, but few of them i.e. Modeling, material assignment, hardware placement, auto hole generation.
