The Stunning Raffles City Chongqing - China Shopping Tour 🇨🇳 Chongqing Raffles City.
Raffles City Chongqing is a remarkable complex of eight buildings located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, China. This is developed by Singapore Real Estate developer CapitaLand and designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie, who designed the Marina Bay Sands.
Raffles City Chongqing sits at the tip of the peninsula, called Chaotianmen, where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet. The project comprises eight towers, including four 250-meter-tall towers with an enclosed skyway called the “Crystal”. Two 350-meter-tall towers connect via cantilever bridges, and two other 250-meter-tall towers are adjacent. The 300-meter-long “Crystal” skybridge is the second highest in the world after the Kingdom Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The entire project has offices, residences, a hotel, a huge 5-storey shopping mall with more than 400 stores and landscaped grounds. The Crystal sets a record for linking the highest number of towers, with its exterior made up of approximately 3,000 glass panels and nearly 5,000 aluminum panels.
