The 2013 American Welding Society/Skills USA Team USA Finals took place at Daytona International Speedway in Tampa, FL.
Alez Pazkowski, a then junior at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan, took home the top prize of a $40,000 college scholarship and a trip to Germany to compete for the World competition.
