Welcome to another video of Himal Courier. Let's discuss preparing DHL Docs or Non-Docs Shipment paperwork.

In other words, let's prepare the DHL shipment paperwork (Waybill & Proforma Invoice)

There are two types of shipments: docs and non-docs. For example, if you send Papers or Books, it's called Doc Shipment. The others, such as a Pen, Key, cloth, shoes & so on, are called non-doc shipments.

For Docs (documents), There are two papers. One has three bar codes, and one has just one. So, you need to stick three barcodes on the envelope and give one to the driver. It's that simple.

One thing, whether paper or books, If you have over 2 kilograms (KG), it is considered non-docs.

Now, let's talk about non-Docs.

For Non-Docs, It's a similar process with the additional invoice. It means you need an invoice with the sender's name, date and signature. Please ensure you write all the details in the invoice, such as country of origin, item description, weight, and customs value. Then, please sign the Proforma invoice and keep it behind both Waybills.

Now, you need to stick three barcodes on the box and give one to the driver. Please ensure the proforma invoice is kept behind the Waybill (Barcode Papers).

Nowadays, all the couriers are paperless, so while printing papers, you will see whether they are paperless by checking the waybill paper. So if it mentions paperless, then you dont need to keep invoices. However, some countries have yet to accept paperless trade.
