I was checking out Real time trains to see if there were any Driver Training runs on C2C with the new 720/6's when I saw this Colas Operated Network Rail Test Train coming down my way.
So, a quick scurry to get to the Laindon Bank with moments to spare to capture it - Diesels, especially 37's are as rare as Rocking Horse **** along this stretch of c2c Rail at this time of day.
I only had my phone to hand, so the picture quality is a bit naff - but at least I got it.
The train was the 1Q95 1225 Ferme Park Recp. to Ripple Lane West S.S.
I could not identify the 37's myself but I believe they were 37099 & 37612. Can anyone qualify?
