SEW ALONG SEWING A PROTECTIVE FACE MASK FOR THE COVID19 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC / Hello Makers and welcome to Sheer Stitchery!

With the lack of proper face masks I wanted to show you how you can make your own at home and to donate to your local hospitals.

Firstly, I am not a medical practitioner, though I consulted with a General Practitioner and they indicated that two layers of tightly woven cotton should suffice and going to the extreme of inserting filtrete fabric (at 0.3 microns) is over doing it for nothing, as the Coronavirus just needs to stop droplets.

You will learn:
- How to construct the face mask
- How to ensure a tighter fit around the nose with flexible wire
- How to line the mask with a gentle cotton flannel
