Thaksin Shinawatra, Thailand's former prime minister, has a new warrant out for his arrest in the wake of recent protests in Bangkok, the capital, that left two people dead and over one hundred injured. Authorities are charging Thaksin and 13 of his supporters with offences including threatening acts of violence and breach of the peace. Thaksin has been living largely in exile since being ousted in 2006. Al Jazeeras Dan Nolan met up with Thaksin in Dubai, and has this exclusive report.
